Chinese Expert Advisory Committee of Administrative Sciences

Held in Tianjin on Jan. 19, 2013

 

On January 19, 2013, the 4th Meeting of the Chinese Expert Advisory Committee of Administrative Sciences was held in Nankai University, Tianjin. The meeting was co-hosted by Chinese Academy of Personnel Science (CAPS) and Zhou Enlai School of Government, Nankai University.  

 

The meeting brought together dozens of renowned experts on public administration in China to discuss issues related to 2013 IIAS Congress and 2013 AGPA Annual Conference. Twenty-five experts were appointed to be the members of Chinese Expert Advisory Committee of Administrative Sciences for the term 2013-2015. Vice-president of IIAS and AGPA Coordinator Wu Jiang chaired the meeting and briefed attendees on the preparation for 2013 AGPA Annual Conference which would take place in Singapore in November, and cordially called for the support of Chinese scholars and experts to attend AGPA activities. The experts all expressed the willingness to participate in AGPA Annual Conference 2013 and pledged to collect relevant academic papers and recommend experts from their colleges to attend the Conference. The theme for 2013 AGPA Annual Conference was discussed and initially determined as Regional Collaboration and Governance.
